Lindsay Shaw Photography has been illustrating life through the lens of her camera for most of her life.   Starting with a 110 camera back in the early 80s, Lindsay found her passion for taking photographs. Today, with over sixteen years of professional experience, Lindsay continues to professionally photograph your special events, or lifestyle sessions in a fresh, creative and professional manner.

 

Lindsay Lehmann graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999 with her BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration.  After moving back to Connecticut in 1999, Lindsay began teaching photography at Pomfret School while simultaniously been running her photography business.  In 2012 Lindsay earned her MA in Arts Education from Boston University.  She has continued to fill her walls and albums with big beautiful images of her two growing children.  Lindsay reminds her students often to use their cameras to not only mark the big moments in life, but all the little ones too. "Balancing both is how you illustrate a moment in time". And that's how Lindsay approaches her business as well.  "It's just a matter of finding the balance between work and play.  Photography is what I love, I'm just lucky I can do it for my job as well.  Teaching others how to do what I do is just the icing on the cake!"
